Stanley Hupfeld Academy

INTEGRIS adopted Stanley Hupfeld Academy in 1998 as Oklahoma's first charter elementary school.  Our students are 92% minority, many live with single parents, extended family members or in foster homes – with 88% living in poverty.  Without the school’s help, many would not have regular meals or access to a consistent, caring adult role model. With the implementation of an arts-integrated curriculum, after school, summer and Saturday school programs, a school-wide reading program, parent outreach initiatives and the addition of 300 mentors from the business community, the school's designation as low-performing has been removed, and students are reaching new levels of success and stability.

Project Spotlight

Addition of new classroom computers for grades 3-5 and computer tutorials for parents will bridge the technology gap for students and encourage parental involvement as they assist children with school work or complete their own resumes through technology access at the school. Impact: 320 students & families annually
